95-Disputations on Ezekiel 1:17 and the Holy Triune God Who Never Tries But Through His Power of Being He Controls, Creates, Concords All Things in His Triune Grasp of Everything by the Sheer Sustaining Power of His Majestic Being

By Dr. Michael A. Petillo & Reformed Baptist Preacher

“…Whenever they moved, they moved in any of their four directions without turning as they moved” (Ezekiel 1:17 NASB).

1.     A holy Triune God accomplishes all things without sin.

2.     Move your minds toward the words of Scripture!

3.     Move your hearts towards seeing Jesus living over death!

4.     Turn to a holy God today and praise, rejoice and thank Him!

5.     Fallen rebels need compassion unto redeeming the time.

6.     Heaven moves through the personification of the Spirit.

7.     Which way is hell on earth so I may share Jesus?  March on for Jesus!

8.     Tell me, which way are you running?  Run to the lost souls!

9.     Do you run away from hell-bound sinners or to them?  Share the gospel with sound words by Scripture!

10. What else does a holy God do by nature but radical good?

11. Why do you despise the Christ who always does good by nature of His superlative, transcendent, aseity-based and imminent holy sinlessness?

12. Do you move with no regard for your hearers?  Preach the orthodox Gospel!

13. Are you far from honoring Christ?  Honor Him today in all!

14. What about gospel words, gospel thoughts and gospel deeds?

15. Do not move along the way to step on a harmed person but take up the divine words of the divine Scripture and the share words of hope.

16. Move in great power with great gentleness and great gentleness with great power.

17. Be moved with Christ-honoring compassion at those who are voiceless.

18. Move with pray for those slaughtered by the façade of the civil authorities.

19. Run with the gospel feet of peace to a world of war.

20. Be about every good deed to move to heaven with gifs to Jesus.

21. Go on with the helmet of salvation!

22. Go on with the breastplate of righteousness!

23. Move in battle with the girdle of truth!

24. Take up the Sword of the Spirit and Shield of Faith!

25. Prepare your long-distance running with gospel feet!

26. Do not turn aside to evil but keep going on the narrow way to Jesus by His Spirit.

27. Preservation by the Spirit is not by self-will but He moves us to heaven.

28. God’s particular foredetermination surely encourages human responsibility.

29. We move with the gifts of His Hand in civil goodness to all.

30. Move along the way with gifts of Jesus to your enemies!

31. As they nail you to the cross, you should be moved with compassion for them that you may sing over them as Jesus sings over us but for them in hopes of mercy.

32. Why do reprobates seem to be more moral than Christians?  Meditate on 1 Timothy 4:12 and become your behavior unto purity.

33. We move and fall but God lifts up again to walk along the way He chooses.

34. Every sinner must turn to a holy God for repentance unto remission.

35. Moving in this life without repentance is a sure sign of perishing!

36. Do Christians live a life of sin so much that they resemble reprobates?  May it never be, Christian friends!

37. Dark rain clouds move over us but soon the shining Sun.

38. Move to the out cast and proclaim the glad tidings of Jesus!

39. Move to the destitute to love them with hands of Jesus!

40. Do you excuse yourself by saying “I am not called?”  There might as well be a dark rain cloud over your head but Jesus will forgive the worst rebel!

41. The reprobates move against the helpless in the land.

42. Christians should move to the helpless to shelter and help them.

43. Why are we moving so slowly?  I mean to act upon the honor of Jesus.

44. Are you not His hands and feet?  Look!  There is someone who needs a cup of cool water but also there is someone who needs them carried to a safe haven.

45. The Spirit takes His chosen people to the mercy of the glory of heaven.

46. We ought not to go to the left or right but the straight way to heaven.

47. We are taken to heaven by the Holy Ghost with great emphasis because this is His “role” in the Triune Godhead.

48. The Spirit of God takes us to heaven through elect angels and King Jesus under the Father’s handiwork that is the surest way to glory unto mercy.

49. A holy Triune God sentences the fallen angels and reprobates to hell forever.

50. Let us move toward heaven through Jesus Christ, His eternal Son and by none other because there is none worthy but the Lamb of God.

51. Fallen sinners go astray as sheep but wolves pursue the sheep like mad-men.

52. Never-converted reprobates move everyday closer to the place of hell.

53. Those converted elect Christian age closer to the glory of the mercy of Jesus in the place of heaven ass trophies of His divine grace through the Son alone.

54. The elect angels move to and fro to accomplish all sorts of good things.

55. Satan moves to and fro on the earth to seek to destroy without cause.

56. Fallen angels seek to deceive as they are deceived with high knowledge.

57. The Father designs whenever whatever is because He has the power by nature.

58. The Son accomplishes the good of His life and death for fallen elect sinners.

59. The Spirit applies the good of the gift of the Father’s design through His Son.

60. If sin was apart of God’s nature, He would not be truly God.

61. The eternal Word is the divine Logos because He is the Incarnate Word.

62. Satan is the essence of sin because it is his very personhood after his fall.

63. The God Who never tries is not a deception from God about God.

64. It is simply a way to say that He is so powerful that He never tries because He is God by His nature.

65. Only God alone in the absolute sense could do something (lisping to His disabled children) and never try.

66. A holy God defeats all of His enemies under His feet without trying.

67. The God Who never tries is by nature the crux of a God who is all-powerful.

68. Clement of Rome was theologically wrong because he said God could lie (contrary to Psalm Chapter 5 Verse 4) and yet do the impossible, but, a holy Triune God by nature cannot lie (he is opposed to the aseity-based impeccability of God in “The First Epistle of Clement of Rome,” Chapter 12, and Verse 11).

69. If a holy Triune God could lie, it would violate the laws of logic in the law of contradiction.  That is, a God of truth is not a God of lies.

70. If a God of truth is a God, He would only be a God of truth and no lie, because His nature is good, righteous, holy and just.

71. What else would God be than a God of truth?

72. Lieless truth is His nature because His nature is holy.

73. If a good God could lie, why would we want to get our hopes up that we may perish by reading potentially anything He says regarding His written Word?

74. The God Who never tries is because of the absolute Power of His nature.

75. The omniscient power of the Triune Majesty is so beyond us that we are even confounded with His “baby talk” to us in His divine Word.

76. Thanks be to God that we have the Spirit of God who helps our weaknesses.

77. The Father never tries but accomplishes all things according to His good pleasure.

78. The Son never tries but accomplishes all things according to His divine pleasure.

79. The Spirit never tries but accomplishes all things according to His holy pleasure.

80. There is unity of the Three Persons within the Triune Godhead that accomplishes all things perfectly who are co-equal, co-essential and co-eternal.

81. The Three Persons do not work separately from One Another (yet it is emphasized by Reformed theologians to use the word ‘separate’ to emphasis the apparent ‘distinctions’ within the Triune Godhead in dealing with the heresy of Modalism (a denial of the Three distinct Persons).

82. The Triune Godhead works in an absolute unity where the Father does not contradict the Son, the Son does not contradict the Father and the Father and the Son does not contradict the Holy Ghost.

83. The Father is the Author of Truth, the Son is the Author of Truth and the Holy Spirit is the Author of Truth.

84. We especially refer to God the Son as the Way, Truth and the Life.

85. We also refer to Jesus Christ as Incarnate Truth.

86. It is also true to refer to God as the God of truth.

87. God is not the God of confusion; rather author of confusion is Satan.

88. We speak of the Spirit of God Who Authors Truth in the divine Scriptures through the holy authors of the written Word.

89. A holy Triune God controls all things, creates all things and concords all things in His sovereign Hand because it was all forewritten in His foredetermined purpose in the word of His power to fulfill His plan unto justice or mercy according to His good, holy and just pleasure.

90. As the Father controls, creates and concords a harmonious purpose, He never tries to accomplish what He intends to do but He does accomplish what His eternal mind thinks and yet everything is known to Him at once and he does not have to think but He does think and it is a way to condescend to us in our lisping as fallen sinners without denying His perfect all-wisdom, because He has the absolute power in and of Himself that refers to His omniscient nature of His Personhood by the sheer Power of His Word.

91. The Father moves ahead His divine purpose in the Son by the application of the Spirit through the written Word preached, applied and lived by in Christian living that honors God above all idols through imitation of the eternal Son.

92. The incarnation of God the Son was spoken by God the Father through the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit (without a real human father) in application of the Son by the Holy Spirit’s work in the eternal Son’s miraculous conception in a pure virgin bright: namely, the virgin mother of Jesus Christ.

93. Jesus Christ carried out the plan of the Father of lights in accomplishing His immaculate life in earning spiritual salvation.

94. Jesus Christ carried out the command of the Father to accomplish His immaculate death in pacifying the wrath of God the Father (propitiation) and removing our sins as far as the east is from the west (expiation).

95. A holy God takes the initiative by the Spirit and Word devoid of baptismal waters of Roman oil in baptismal regeneration but by the monergistic (the work of God alone) spiritual awakening of His sovereign freedom.
