Dr. M.A. Petillo & Reformed Baptist Preacher
“…As
for their rims they were lofty and awesome, and the rims of all four of them
were full of eyes round about…” (Ezekiel
1:18 NASB).
1.
God’s handiwork
of creation is intrinsically made.
2.
The Triune God
also reserves for Himself an innumerable community of elect angels that will
forever glorify Him unto mercy.
3.
The Father, Son
and Holy Spirit reserves for Himself an innumerable gathering of elect human
beings for all eternity unto mercy.
4.
All of the many
of those purchased by Christ the eternal Son by His ransom to the Father will
forever enter the glory of heaven unto mercy in guaranteed, absolute and
unchangeable certainty.
5.
What of the
appearance of the Triune Godhead?
Simply, it is the glory of transcendent holiness and awesome holiness.
6.
There are
appearance of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit while we are sinners but this is
not a deception by a holy God.
7.
The appearances
of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are understood as His way to lisp to us in
baby talk from divine revelation.
8.
The appearance of
the Father in the Old Testament was a theophany (an non-human incarnation of
the appearance of the Father).
9.
The appearance of
the Son in Old Testament History was a Christophany (an appearance of God the
Son before He became man).
10.
The appearance of
the Holy Spirit is the Third Member of the Trinity that broods over creation as
the outstretched dove of God (an anthropomorphism; that is, a human
expression).
11.
The beatific
vision is for the glorified elect to behold the heavenly face of God where only
those of the glorified unified merits of Jesus Christ may approach the Triune
Majesty.
12.
The eyes of God’s
creatures behold an Awesome God.
13.
An awesome God
makes creatures full of eyes to behold His glory.
14.
A good God is
supremely concerned about His superlative glory.
15.
A holy God is
greatly concerned about His thrice holy glory.
16.
A just God is
profoundly concerned about His glory of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (this
is the only way a sinlessly impeccable God is according to a holiness that
always is was and forever shall be).
17.
At the moment of
spiritual destruction for the pre-converted elect (temporary reprobates) is the
moment where the Hound of Heaven (the Holy Ghost) makes the people of God
willing.
18.
The pre-converted
elect have their wills remain passive but at the same time He does not sin
against them (cosmic rape) to supernaturally quicken them to life everlasting
by the accompanying written Word of God (the glory of Triune Awesomeness).
19.
Monergistic
quickening (spiritual rebirth) is from the design of the Father through the
appropriation of the unified work of the imputation of the divine Son of Man by
the spiritual application of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Scripture.
20.
What could
monergistic quickening bring? A real
supernatural, spiritual and divine change (apart from deification though the
Holy Spirit possesses us but with a complete theology the Triune God).
21.
The lofty (high)
but real, genuine and authentic change of spiritual rebirth by the Spirit of
God and the Word of God is a new heart, new life, new obedience, new nature,
new righteousness, new destiny.
22.
Sinners go beyond
the edge in his own finite, limited and fallen understanding but a holy God
saves unto graciousness.
23.
Is not the glory
of the Father His matchless design?
24.
Is not the glory
of the Son His matchless unified work?
25.
Is not the glory
of the Spirit His application of the Son?
26.
The beauty of the
Father is through His Son by the Spirit.
27.
The beauty of
awesomeness of the gift of the Son by the Spirit.
28.
The beauty of
awesomeness of a spiritually quickened soul is positional through the life and
death of Jesus Christ alone.
29.
The heart sees a
holy God in the beauty of holiness (by the spiritual quickening of the Holy
Ghost and the Word of God).
30.
The mind sees a
holy God in the beauty of holiness (by a spiritual awakening in the outcome of
sound theology).
31.
The way to heaven
is solely through the narrow door of Jesus Christ.
32.
The Father seeks
glory unto justice or mercy in holiness.
33.
The Son seeks
glory unto justice or mercy in holiness.
34.
The Spirit seeks
glory unto justice or mercy in holiness.
35.
Elect angels love
to behold the superlative holiness of God.
36.
The Father is
holy by the nature of His eternal self-existence.
37.
The Son is holy
by nature of His everlasting aseity.
38.
The Spirit is
holy by nature of His forever existence from everlasting to everlasting.
39.
The razor’s edge
is sometimes grey areas but it always involves whatsoever is right (not
submission to immediate wrongdoing).
40.
Future
glorification means a holy God glorifies His unified merit of Jesus Christ
alone through a creaturely sinner so God gets the glory of the unified work of
the Son unto the gift of His eternal mercy.
41.
Elect angels surround
us not by omnipresence.
42.
The good angels
surround us in angel armies in the approbation of the power of His Incarnate
Majesty (Jesus Christ).
43.
Satan manipulates
dimensions to gain counterintelligence.
44.
God’s sinless
holiness is transcendent by His nature of aseity.
45.
God’s
omnipresence is there to test motives of the soul.
46.
God’s
omnipresence is there to accomplish His work of His foredetermined design but
He is this way by His very nature.
47.
Future
glorification does not mean the creaturely sinner is a god.
48.
The creation is
God’s work that is awesome devoid of godhood.
49.
Past
glorification is about God’s people as His children.
50.
The greatest
awesomeness of glory belongs to the Triune God.
51.
Superlative glory
does not rightly belong to the creature.
52.
The loftiness of
the Triune God is superior to everything.
53.
The awesomeness
of the Triune God is the greatest of the greatest.
54.
The rim is used
to describe the edge of a circumference (this could described the exterior to
things that seem lofty and awesome).
55.
According to the
Reformed doctrine of immensity, the God of the Bible cannot be contained.
56.
A holy God does
appear with an outward form of His lisping to us so we may comprehend the
beauty of His Holiness.
57.
His Holiness
(does not belong to the pope) but the Triune Majesty.
58.
The trails of a Christian
bring us into the mountains tops of pain.
59.
We do not wish to
behold the torment of their souls without cause.
60.
The Triune God’s
eyes are in every corner, every direction, every place, and every location
because this is the undeniable nature of God.
61.
Those of the
place of hell stand at the edge of Mt.
Hell-Fire and scream in
abandoned hatred against a superlatively holy, Almighty Triune God.
62.
God’s mercy never
comes to an edge but is forevermore.
63.
God’s creatures
have eyes to behold the inhabitants of the earth.
64.
The elect angels
have eyes over them to behold a holy God.
65.
Sinners find
themselves at the edge of the wrath of God.
66.
Sinners find
themselves at the edge of life due to old age.
67.
It is possible to
be at the edge of our eternal destinies whether He works it unto justice or
mercy.
68.
Sometimes are
brim is full of pain and yet overflows like a waterfall.
69.
The Father
possesses full omnipresence (He is everywhere all at the same time in His
immensity).
70.
The Son touching
His divine nature is completely omnipresent because this is what God is by
nature and what else would the Son be if He was everywhere except God the Son
Who became man?
71.
The Holy Ghost is
completely omnipresent because He is God as the Third Member of the Trinity and
not an impersonal force.
72.
The outside
presence of sinless angels is magnificent.
73.
Elect angels are
magnificent but should not be worshipped.
74.
The Triune God is
the Father Who is Awesome, the Son Who is Awesome and the Spirit of God Who is
Awesome.
75.
The Three Persons
are Awesome in a set apart sense that
entails aseity (eternal self-existence) where no creature can approach the God
of the Bible as a god besides Him by nature or status.
76.
The elect angel
armies are holy creatures due to a holy God.
77.
The elect angels
at the fall Lucifer choose Jesus Christ over Him.
78.
The good angels
are above us in the order of creation.
79.
The chosen angels
(not fallen angels) cannot take human form.
80.
It is possible to
entertain good angels unawares.
81.
Elect angels are
profoundly interested in God’s redemptive work.
82.
The good angels
surround the elect people of God in Christ.
83.
God’s creation
encompasses all kinds of strange and wonderful things.
84.
We are strangely
and wonderfully made by the Triune Designer.
85.
It is awesome in
a redemptive sense to belong to the Son.
86.
Those who belong
to the Son belong to the Father.
87.
Those who are
stolen from Satan by the Spirit belong to Him.
88.
What is
awesome? The Triune Majesty and His
works of creation.
89.
The Father as the
First Person of the Trinity is awesome by nature.
90.
The Son as the
Second Person of the Trinity is awesome by nature.
91.
The Spirit as the
Third Person of the Trinity is awesome by nature.
92.
The outside
presence of the Father is transcendent holiness.
93.
The outside
presence of the Son is awe-inspiring holiness.
94.
The outside
presence of the Spirit is the miraculous holiness.
95.
The eternal Son
gazed at the beauty of His Father in public ministry where the Spirit of God
descended upon Him in John the Baptist’s baptism for the approbation of His
ministry (no sinner was qualified to ordain Incarnate Majesty (Jesus Christ) save
the Holy Spirit where He had eternal fellowship, friendship and
intercommunication in the Triune Aseity in eternity past).
