103-Disputations on John 16:33 and God Incarnate-Conquering Peace in Courage in Overcoming the Sinful Curse of the Fallen World Since the Radical Fall of Adam Through the Radical Temptations of Satan For the Glory of the Choice of God in the Mercy of His Chosen or the Vessels of Wrath (I was able to write this b/c I downed some serious orange juice...no, wait minute it, I usually write this little behemoth!)

We gather together to ask the Lord's blessing;
He chastens and hastens his will to make known;
The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing:
Sing praises to his Name; he forgets not his own.
Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining,
Ordaining, maintaining his kingdom divine;
So from the beginning the fight we were winning:
Thou, Lord, wast at our side: all glory be thine!
We all do extol thee, thou Leader triumphant,
And pray that thou still our Defender wilt be.
Let thy congregation escape tribulation:
Thy Name be ever praised! O Lord, make us free!  (TH, 286).

"...Faith upholds a Christian under all trials, by assuring him that every painful dispensation is under the direction of his Lord; that chastisements are a token of His love; that the season, measure, and continuance of his sufferings, are appointed by Infinite Wisdom, and designed to work for his everlasting good; and that grace and strength shall be afforded him, according to his need..."  (John Newton, Letters).

14.  The Lord Jesus declared the Gospel of to God be the glory alone in the order of salvation that brings tribulation.

18.  The Lord spoke His message where His apostles wrote it down for the peoples all over the world.

19.  The Lord speaks Gospel-peace to His people.

20.  The Lord commands His apostles to write of His transcendent peace among those who would believe in a redemptive manner by the choice of God.

21.  Transcendent peace overcomes a world of trouble.

22.  Is it possible to have transcendent peace in the midst of trouble?  Yes, only from Jesus Christ!

23.  How does someone get transcendent peace?  It is a reflection of positional truth in experiential truth, because it is by God's choice through His Spirit and Word alone.

24.  It is possible to doubt one's authentic faith.

25.  It is possible to doubt one's genuine repantance.

26.  It is possible to doubt the peace of God.

27.  The followers of Jesus surely have trouble.

28.  It is possible to have a troubled mind when a Christian possesses a mind of peace.

29.   There is positional peace through Christ.

30.   There is experiential peace by Christ.

31.  There is no positional trouble through Christ because it is based on God's unbreakable oath but Satan comes to accuse to undo it and yet it cannot be undone in anyway whatsoever.

32.  Sometimes experiential peace can be increased, stabilized or diminished but it depends on the measure of God's grace.

33.  Faith is sustained by the Spirit and the Word.

34.  Faith overcomes all tribulation of the world.

42.  Adam and Eve suffered tribulation before they fall, but through the temptation of Satan they fell into sin through the freedom of their wills.

43.  Noah and his family suffered tribulation in the great global flood, but on the raging waves the Ark endured to picture the ultimate Ark JESUS CHRIST.

50.  There is obedience to the written Word alone that is by the Spirit and Word in great painful tribulation.

51.  The people of God are sustained by the Triune Majesty of God.

52.  No one can make faith in themselves to overcome the world like to think a happy thought to fly like Peter Pan.

53.  No one is able to have faith native from themselves except by the Word and Spirit.

54.  If God makes you to differ by His immutable and sovereign choice, you will suffer tribulation.

55.  The Father's design is that His people suffer for what is right because of Jesus Christ.

56.  Suffering for what is right is the way of Jesus.

57.  Suffering for the Name is a great joy.

58.  It is possible to suffer for the Name even if it means you do not know Christ if God orders it in His providence according to His good pleasure.

59.  The pre-converted elect may suffer for the Name before the Spirit because of counterintelligence or the ways of fallen sinners in relation to Christ.

60.  There is a Spirit-lead courage.

61.  There is a Christ-honoring courage.

62.  There is a Father designed courage.

63.  There is a civil courage and a redemptive courage.

64.  It is better to have a redemptive change than a civil change.

65.  The Christian is an overcomer by the Spirit.

66.  The Christian is empowered by the Word.

67.  It is impossible to have courage by the Spirit in a Christian sense unless first awakened by Him and His matchless written Word alone.

68.  To overcome is the way of the Father for the Christian.

69.  To overcome is the way of Christ for the Christian.

70.  To overcome is the way of the Spirit for His elect.

71.  Satan cannot overcome the world, because he is a cosmic rebel in the deepest sinfulness of sin.

72.  Demons cannot overcome the world, because they have no genuine faithful repentance toward God but merely have a civil profession.

73.  Satan may overcome the world by tyranny in mastering their wills in a second cause way if permitted, but he cannot stop God's Hand when He seeks to awaken His chosen at His timing.

74.  Fallen sinners do not have Christian courage by nature, but it is possible to imitate it like an actor.

75.  Actors do not overcome this fallen world.

76.  Pretenders find themselves accursed by God's Word and Spirit under apostolic condemnation, because they practice evil over good.

77.  Demonstrating faith is Spirit-given gifts of His Hand of good deeds created and ordained to practice, but spiritual salvation does not depend upon sinful works but flows through every part of the Christian walk before the Father.

78.  Demonstrating faith is a way to overcome the world, but surely there will be tribulations.

79.  Tribulation happens by the fruits of the Spirit.

80.  Tribulation is about the love of Christ in the face of Satan and minions of devils.

81.  Tribulation is about the work of the Spirit in the trouble of the world because He comes to bring the gift of the Gospel of God to lost elect sinners.

82.  The Gospel is the reason for tribulation.

83.  Christ is the reason for trouble.

84.  Is all trouble the same?  By no means!

85.  Trouble for what is good is best to endure.

86.  Trouble for what is evil is recompense.

87.   If all trouble is the same, how does anyone explain the the matchless sinlessness of Christ and yet He was in the worst kind of trouble?

88.  No one is able to withstand the wrath of God for reprobates, because He is judging sin for vessels of wrath for His ultimate justice.

89.  Tribulation means you have provoked Satan by foredetermined good and he wants to destroy you.

90.  A holy Triune God never inflicts injustice on anyone.

91.   A holy Triune God always deals with sin in terms of justice.

92.  A holy Triune God always deals with the sin of His elect people unto mercy but a season of corrective judgment that does not add to Christ alone in justification by faith alone but speaks to being conformed to the image of Christ by the renewal of the Christian mind because it is about the honor of Christ in excellence to the glory of God alone by the work of the Holy Spirit.

93.  No tribulation is devised of fallen man in the ultimate cause like a holy God but through secondary causes the sin belongs to them alone.

94.  Are you about the excellence of Christ?  You will suffer tribulation!

95.  Are you about the honor of Christ?  You will suffer tribulation!

96.  Are you about the glory of Christ?  You will suffer tribulation!

97.   The world loves its own because of Satan.

98.  The world hates Christ-bearers by the Spirit.

99.  The world seeks to destroy God's people.

100.  The world designs plans to forsake God and His people and His written Scripture.

101.  Hell is not a place where God is unjust but rather hell is a place of the essence of justice.

102.  Satan attacks heaven but God's people are secure by the Word and Spirit.

1103.  Hell is a place where reprobates sinners are resident to absorb the pain of torment and terror by a living Triune God and His holy and elect angels.

The church's one Foundation
Is Jesus Christ her Lord;
She is his new creation
By water and the Word:
From heav'n he came and sought her
To be his holy bride;
With his own blood he bought her,
And for her life he died.
Elect from ev'ry nation,
Yet one o'er all the earth,
Her charter of salvation
One Lord, one faith, one birth;
One holy Name she blesses,
Partakes one holy food.
And to one hope she presses,
With ev'ry grace endued.
Though with a scornful wonder
Men see her sore oppressed,
By schisms rent asunder,
By heresies distressed,
Yet saints their watch are keeping,
Their cry goes up, "How long?"
And soon the night of weeping
Shall be the morn of song.
The church shall never perish!
Her dear Lord to defend,
To guide, sustain and cherish
Is with her to the end;
Though there be those that hate her,
And false sons in her pale,
Against or foe or traitor
She ever shall prevail.
'Mid toil and tribulation,
And tumult of her war,
She waits the consummation
Of peace for evermore;
Till with the vision glorious
Her longing eyes are blest,
And the great church victorious
Shall be the church at rest.
Yet she on earth hath union
With the God the Three in One,
And mystic sweet communion
With those whose rest is won:
O happy ones and holy!
Lord, give us grace that we,
Like them, the meek and lowly,
On high may dwell with thee.  (TH, 270).

 "...There is no attribute more comforting to His children than that of God’s sovereignty. Under the most adverse circumstances, in the most severe trials, they believe that sovereignty has ordained their afflictions, that sovereignty overrules them, and that sovereignty will sanctify them all. There is nothing for which the children ought to more earnestly contend to than the doctrine of their Master over all creation – the Kingship of God over all the works of His own hands – the Throne of God and His right to sit upon that throne...for it is God upon the Throne whom we trust..."  (C.H. Spurgeon).
