95-Disputations on 1 Peter 2:15-16 and Slavehood Over Against Grace As A Cover-Up For Evil For the God Incarnate Son of Man

1 Peter 2:15-16 NASB   "...For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men.   Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God...."

Blow ye the trumpet, blow!
The gladly solemn sound
Let all the nations know,
To earth's remotest bound;
The year of jubilee is come;
Return, ye ransomed sinners, home;
Return, ye ransomed sinners, home.
Jesus, our great High Priest,
Hath full atonement made;
Ye weary spirits, rest;
Ye mournful souls, be glad:
Extol the Lamb of God;
The sacrificial Lamb;
Redemption through his blood
Throughout the world proclaim:
Ye slaves of sin and hell,
Your liberty receive;
And safe in Jesus dwell,
And blest in Jesus live:
Ye who have sold for nought
Your heritage above,
Receive it back unbought,
The gift of Jesus' love:
The gospel trumpet hear,
The news of heav'nly grace;
And, saved from earth, appear
Before your Saviour's face:  (TH, 392
).

1.  Enslavement to Christ is true freedom.

2.  There is no true freedom for evil living.

3.  Those who think evil living is a pathway to freedom are radically self-deceived by experiential sin that leads a pathway to hell.

4.  Christ-bound slavery is better than slavery to sin.

5.  Christians should never use their freedom for sin.

6.  No Christian has the right to sin and sin again.

7.  No one has the right to do wrong before God.

8.  Using grace as a cover-up for sin is like being a Judas and causing the death of Jesus Christ touching a great degree of sinfulness.

9.  There is no such thing as a lawless Christian.

10.  Lawless living is a way of Satan and reprobates.

11.  There are seasons of sin for the Christian that yields a time of chastening and humility.

12.  Balaam was a man of lawless wrongdoing.

13.  Judas Iscariot was a man who did evil that good may come, because his Master was Satan instead of Jesus Christ.

14.  Alexander the Coopersmith was a man about doing much harm to St. Paul, but God repays His enemies at the Last Day of Wrath.

15.  The Christian life is all about slavery to Jesus.

16.  Slavery to Jesus is about a pursuit of holiness.

17.  A hired servant is not a slave, but a slave is a son.

18.  Right living silencing the enemies of God.

19.  Holy living shuts the mouths of God's enemies.

20.  Righteous living shames those of ignorance.

21.  Enslavement to Jesus is true freedom from God.

22.  Enslavement to Satan is war with God.

23.  Slavery to sin is enmity with God.

24.  Passion for sexual pleasure over holiness is sin.

25.  A Jesus passion is better than a sexual passion.

26.  Sexual passion for evil is spitting in God's face.

27.  Sinful pleasure over holy pleasures are sin.

28.  No one is right before God except through Jesus.

29.  Repentance and godly living go together.

30.  Confession to a Christian for prayer and healing is good for the health of the Christian walk.

31.  Slavehood is sold-out loyalty to Jesus Christ.

32.  Freedom is adoption to Jesus Christ by His Spirit, because of the Father's design.

33.  The Father's design is for us to live holy lives.

34.  The Son's life and death is about holiness.

35.  The Spirit's work is about regeneration and sanctification by God's written Word alone.

36.  A better freedom cannot be earned but lived.

37.  Freedom must be through Christ alone.

38.  The Spirit makes us free from sin so we are enslaved to Jesus Christ.

39.  Slavehood to sin is the essence of self-worship.

40.  Slavehood to sin is the crux of prideful evil.

41.  Jesus passion is not the same as sexual passion, because one is God-honoring and the other is Satan-honoring.

42.  Look around us and see a society sold-out to sexual filth in homosexual immorality in public degradation of the traditional family and defiance of the gospel and godly living.

43.  A violent grace teaches us about the death of Jesus, because He bore the crux of pain to the Father for His people alone.

44.  A Christian life should be all about God-honoring ways, because of the Spirit of God.

45.  A satanic lifestyle is about the furtherance of sin with no faithful repentance and redeeming the time, because it is the crux of rebellion of the abandonment of the greatness of the sinfulness of sin in utter defiance to a holy Triune God.

46.  Christ-honoring ways in experiential practicality is about the obedience to the Ten Commandments, but not to be right with God but to be obedient in all things to imitate the life of Jesus in a shattered image due to weakened corruptions.

47.  Christ-honoring ways is justification by Christ alone, because it is how we are right with a holy God.

48.  Slavehood is about set apart trust in the Trinity.

49.  Men enslaved to men is cosmic tyranny in sin.

50.  The slaves of God are born again by the Word and Spirit, because He chooses unto new life.

51.  No one is holy except by the Word and Spirit.

52.  The life of Jesus was holy sinlessness.

53.  The death of Jesus was holy perfection.

54.   The bodily risen Son from the sting of death and the grave is about confirmation and verification of the unified work of Jesus Christ.

55.  The ascension of Jesus is about raising to purity in the Christian life above sin to the Father.

56.  Freedom is about love of God and neighbor.

57.  Freedom is slavery to 1, 050 New Testament Commandments, because it all right before God.

58.  Slavery to Allah is enlistment to a false God.

59.  Slavery to Buddha is contrary to Jesus Christ.

60.  Slavery to Confucius is not Christ-like.

61.  Freedom from sin is about Christ as Savior.

62.  Christ as Redeemer means to live holy, but if you fall into sin He is ready to forgive.

63.   If God is ready to forgive, why not live holy to be all about the Father's design through the Son by the Spirit to live right before God?

64.  If you do not live right but indulge sin, it is judgment in itself unto a painful correction.

65.  There is a new indulgence among Christians: namely, it is fornication at will to advance no matter if they violated God Himself.

66.  Rome's indulgence of adding sorrow to the unmatchable sorrow of Jesus at His Cross is furthered through a state of self-destruction that is hell before the time.

67.  Repent and live right before a holy God.

68.  Obey the gospel and live out the gospel.

69.  Be obedient and live holy lives unto God.

70.  Be strong in Christ and take courage to be holy.

71.  If you fall to sin, renew your confessional repentance and seek to live redeeming the time.

72.  If you fall to a Genesis Flood of sin, what is your reaction to this sin?  Is it a season of sin or a lifestyle of sin?  What say you?  Is it contrite repentance to a holy Triune God in set apart living or is it letting all sin pass by to lead you to the place of hell?

73.  Is your repentance like that of Hezekiah where it is an opportune repentance that prolongs your life?  I am saying there is inconsistency in the motives of repentance among fallen rebels.

74.  Are you repenting because it is of the Word and Spirit or are your repenting because you are in punishment and fear more punishment?  God weighs the motives, but men imitates Satan to seek an opportune time.

75.  Does it continue your whole life instead of a one-time-repentance?

76.  If repentance does not continue as a life-long priority before a holy Triune God, it is a non-Spirit and Word furthered civil repentance that is found in hell, but God in this life is gracious to even though who engage in civil repentance to expand life yet it has no redemptive value where it is an unheard heard repentance to God that brings no practical reconciliation between a rebel and a holy God.

77.  God's Word should lead us to repentance.

78.  God's Spirit should lead us to holy living.

79.  The moral law is a perfect picture of Jesus.

80.  Jesus never sinned but His people sin.

81.  If we live like Jesus we will honor the Father.

82.  Do not fall into the pig pen because it is sin.

83.  Keep the robes of Jesus on and live by the Spirit.

84.  Living by the Spirit is dying to sin and life to Jesus, because of God and His Word.

85.  The simplicity of Jesus is the gospel.

86.  The gospel should not further ungodly living.

87.  Sin wants to be the master over the Christian.

88.  The Christian must master sin always.

89.  The Father is pleased with the Son alone.

90.  The Son's unified merit imputed by faith alone is the only way to be right with a holy God.

91.   The Spirit applies the spiritual truth of the gospel to us, because He initiates spiritual salvation.

92.  The Bible is a book about Jesus living.

93.  No body is ready for hell so make sure Jesus is in your heart, because this is the evidence of the Spirit.

94.  The evidence of the Spirit is slavery to the Word.

95.  The evidence of the Word is freedom by the Spirit, because of the Father's design through the intercession of the Son to the uttermost.

 Out of the deep I call
To thee, O Lord, to thee.
Before thy throne of grace I fall;
Be merciful to me.
Out of the deep I cry,
The woeful deep of sin,
Of evil done in days gone by,
Of evil now within;
Out of the deep of fear
And dread of coming shame;
All night till morning watch is near
I plead the precious Name.
Lord, there is mercy now,
As ever was, with thee.
Before thy throne of grace I bow;
Be merciful to me.  (TH, 412).
